• No school wants to cancel a game in the early morning hours, then have the weather change during the course of the day to where a game could have been played. To avoid this, the following is usually performed.

• The two schools communicate during the day.

• A decision on whether or not to play a game is made in the afternoon.

• Decisions are made before the visiting school's bus departs.

• "Game-on" announcements are usually not made. If you do not hear anything about the game, then it is still on until further notice.

• If the game is off, then each each athletic director will notify their coaches. The coaches will notify the players. The players will notify the parents.

• Game-changing situations are announced on this site no later than 3 PM on the day of the game.

• Please do not call the school to ask if a game is still being played. If the game is cancelled, then an announcement will be made to the coaches and players, who will notify the parents and so on.

• Rare occasions, such as heavy snow or flooding, will allow for a game to be cancelled much earlier than normal.

There have been

visits since 11-13-09
